They are black metal on the back with a rubber clasp, which is great! I highly recommend them!

I love this enamel pin! It is a truly special piece that stands out for its excellent quality and impeccable finish.
From the first moment, you can notice the attention to detail: the colors are vibrant, the enamel has a subtle, very elegant shine, and the metallic lines are perfectly defined, giving it a professional and durable appearance. Its size is ideal, noticeable enough to attract attention without being obtrusive, and the safety closure is robust, allowing it to be carried with complete peace of mind in any garment, backpack or accessory.

Darker in color than the photo and quite large which it doesn't appear to be either. But it's very pretty, I love it.
