The ruler is microscopic. Cheap cannot be good. Chinese friends make a copy of a normal-sized ruler with the finest beams, or with a normal beam cross-section but with microscopic beam lengths. But of course, you won't understand this from the description or the photo.
In this line, the length of the beams is about 8 mm, and the distance between the ends of the beams is 12 mm.
The quality of the ruler is not bad, but it is very small and uncomfortable to hold.
