These headphones have been plugged into my son's digital keyboard for about three weeks of nightly practice. the larger plug goes right into the keyboard and the smaller adapter works with his laptop when he wants to record into a free daw. sound is balanced without being overly bass-heavy, which actually helps him hear his mistakes on the keys. the ear cups are deep enough to clear his ears fully and the padding stays comfortable through hour-long practice sessions. he likes that one cup swivels so he can pull it off to hear me when i call him for dinner. the coiled cable stretches across his desk without tangling. build is mostly plastic with some metal at the headband adjustment, and it has handled being dropped on carpet a couple of times without issue. solid pickup at this price point for a beginner musician.
