Everything arrived intact - thank God.
I'm giving only 3 stars because the seller did NOT pack the box with foam or soft bubble wrap to protect the contents of the package.
As a result, the box arrived heavily dented, but miraculously the contents were not damaged.
In my opinion, the seller is not paying due attention to the buyer.

It works, but copying from one hdd to another hdd erases the memory of the second completely instead of syncing, so it's very destructive

Very good build quality, easy to operate and works reliably with linux. The built-in usb 3.0 hub is very useful for daisy-chaining or just adding more drives (tested with an external usb 3.0 enclosure). The output from lsusb suggests that it's built with via vl812 usb hub (currently eol, but well-supported in linux) and asmedia asm1352r usb 3.1 to dual sata bridge (bit of a shame about the wasted 10 gb/s possibility)
