Returns

The range speed is about half of what is advertised. In CrystalDiskMark

We have both 3.0 and 4.0.
Both products reach almost the maximum speed, but 4.0 is about 5-10% faster.
If you have the time, I strongly recommend SD 4.0.
This is the value measured with Samsung 1tB pro.
Of course, it would be faster if you use an SD card with more pins that supports UHS-2.

This product is highly recommended as an SD4.0 card reader. No matter how high-performance the memory card is, if the card reader has low specifications, it won't perform well. There are too many memory cards using USB3.0 interfaces that are only SD2.0, so those who don't know much about it often blame the card... At least SD3.0 should be used to guarantee 104MB/sec, and depending on the product, it can even reach 140~170MB/sec. Don't fall for products that only emphasize USB3.0 for less than 5,000 won... Choose SD3.0 or a product with 104MB/sec or higher to ensure Samsung EVO MicroSD also reaches 70MB/sec or more. Ugreen SD4.0 extracts the full performance of all cards except NVMe MicroSD (=TF). Personally, I highly recommend the cost-effective Lexar 310, followed by Ugreen products. Even without a brand name, there are good TF card readers priced around 8,000 won. Please refer to the photo^^

It has the advantage of good performance with SD4.0. However, for regular users, it's rare to use SD cards with UHS2 standards, and cards that support up to 312MB/sec are also uncommon. Therefore, I prefer the Lexar 310 card reader over Ugreen products. The reason is that recently, ultra-high-performance MicroSD cards using NVMe can reach write speeds of up to 600MB/sec, so even with SD4.0, I don't get my desired speed anyway; my SD and MicroSD cards all have speeds below 200MB/sec, and I've confirmed that the Lexar card reader reaches up to 170MB/sec... The size and design are better with Lexar, and the price is close to half the cost^^ Nevertheless, the Ugreen card reader is also worth recommending as you can purchase it for less than 10,000 won using coins.
